Starting by opening a music school for children in his neighborhood, Brazilian musician Carlinhos Brown used his the influence of his art to transform an entire village from a near shanty-town to a dignified community; we’re talking about getting the city to open a health clinic, install sewer lines, and refurbish a water fountain allowing access to clean water.
