Good Brands of 2010

April 21st, 2010  |  Published in Blog

New York-based PSFK, a trends and innovation research company, just announced its “Good Brands of 2010.” In the context of contemporary American capitalism, it’s refreshing to see companies being rewarded (or awarded?) for doing something other than making money. PSFK names its “Good Brands” based off the following criteria: imaginationinnovationenvironmental responsibility and social consciousness.

You should definitely check out the page, but to give you a preview, here’s who they picked (not a huge surprise, but some unexpected choices–they explain):

10. Nintendo
9. FourSquare
8. Twitter
7. Nike
6. Ikea
5. Ace Hotel
4. MIT
3. Jamie Oliver
2. Apple
1. Google
