Moving Forward

Society Promotions is moving forward pretty quickly these days and we’re excited to share what’s going on in S.P. world. We’re coming off one of our most successful events, the Pierce Pettis concert, where 150 people enjoyed the music of critically acclaimed songwriter Pierce Pettis and local musician Ricky Kendall and also learned about the amazing work of Rebuilding Together North Central Florida.
We’ve officially incorporated as a not-for-profit, which has been months in the planning. This means we can enter a new phase of our operations, which can include grant writing and accepting donations.
And, this Saturday at 5pm, we go on the airwaves weekly with SoPro Radio on WGOT-LP Gainesville, which is 94.7 FM. This will allow us to be further connected to the people and the culture of Gainesville. The shows will be archived on this site the week after they are played on the air.
Hopefully, all of these changes mean that we can continue to improve the quality and frequency of our events.
None of this would be possible without the support and generosity of several people. Thank you.
